This is a great opportunity to join the team at an extremely successful niche business in a varied and responsible position with potential for development.
Reporting to the Company Directors, you will take responsibility for day to day accounting activities using Sage and Excel - everything from producing the trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet, through to VAT returns, analysis, invoicing, credit control, bank and statement postings and reconciliations. There is also an accounts administrative element to the role which will include KPI and cost reporting, and providing specific paperwork for clients.
The client is keen to recruit someone with a strong SME accounting background and a pro-active approach, with a keen eye for detail who will be able to identify and implement improvements to processes and eventually take responsibility for the monthly management accounts production as the company continues to grow. This could suit someone AAT qualified or equivalent, or someone suitably qualified by experience as long as they have the drive to succeed and add value and have the core accounting skills required.
