Assistant Accountant - Temp to Perm - London
This is a very unique, interesting, and superb opportunity to work for a large global charity organisation, where you will join the Financial Accounting team as an Assistant Accountant.
You will ideally be someone who is keen to learn, and previously have some transnational finance experience - gained from within the Financial Accounting space. Training will be given, but previous and recent experience would be preferable as this is a very fast paced role and fast-paced organisation, where no two days are the same! You will be working with AAT and ACCA and CIMA studiers, as well as some Qualified Accountants also. You will be a studier or someone keen to progress your accounting knowledge.
The successful candidate within the Assistant Accountant role will be responsible for:
• Active involvement with journal preparation, fixed assets, prepayments and accruals
• Reviewing journal entries and auctioning a list of monthly journal entries
• Active involvement with balance sheet reconciliations and bank recs
• Completing all month-end tasks
• Providing analytical review and data analysis weekly and monthly
• Ad-hoc projects
• Daily use of finance system and Intermediate Excel (full training will be given)

Paid holiday scheme

Statutory sick pay
Should you fall ill for four consecutive days following 13 continuous weeks of temporary assignments, you may be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) from Reed.
