Our client are an established distribution business who have manoeuvred their business to the top of their industry over the 35 years since its inception.

A highly reputable global business who supply their products to the world’s best Retail stores globally. Due to changes in the business they are looking to recruit a candidate to work in the Supply Chain Team who has high level Microsoft Excel Skills and a Supply Chain Administrator.

A Full Time contract until December 2017 to be suitable for this role you must be immediately available or at least only on one weeks’ notice and the job purpose will be to execute then demand plan submitted by the supply chain manager.

Your Responsibilities will include

Responsible for highlighting to the Supply Chain Planner when stocks are in excess / short and work with them to resolve

Manages Purchase Orders, creating, getting sign off, amending (as appropriate), in line with buy plan

Receiving the stock orders/demand plan from Channel planning, netting off the EU DC stocks on hand, adjusting safety stock levels to policy and purchasing balance to lead time to meet demand

Creation and maintenance of the EU rolling 12 month forecast for all categories in the in house system.

Provide US teams a rolling 12 month forecast beyond lead time for given categories

Responsible for adjusting safety stock on individual product basis should need arise

Assists in coordinating freight into EU DC

Experience required

To be successful in this role you do not need to have experience within Supply Chain but it is essential you are excellent at Excel which includes, Pivot tables, V look up and formulas as you will mainly be working on excel with stock and the movement of stock liaising with all teams that are responsible for the movement of the stock.

You will be a quick learning and be able to adapt to new working environments with ease

Experience in inventory management, customer services, supply chain or logistics functions would be ideal

Strong numeracy skills, able to work accurately with large volumes of numbers

Due to the nature of the role being a contract you will need to be immediately available or at least 1 weeks’ notice

Computer literacy, specifically strong Microsoft excel sills

Excellent verbal and written communication

High level of accuracy, able to detect inconsistencies and errors

Results and deadline oriented

Must be flexible and adaptive to work with changing priorities
