I am looking to appoint a Children's Studio Manager to develop and expand on this already buzzing and very successful after-school coding club business.
You must be available to work every Monday to Thursday from 4pm to 7pm - and then will be home based all day Friday to complete all your administration. There will also be a half day each Saturday from 9 to12.30pm. Please make sure these hours suit, as there will be no flexibility. This is working in North London.
The role in question will be to lead a team of undergraduates to nurture, assist and further educate children aged 5-14 who have demonstrated an interest in coding. As the Studio Manager your job is not to teach directly, but to develop the club's business liaising with parents and being the front face of the adventure.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing all operations within the Studio
Being innovative and helping the business grow
Working with parents to define children's learning needs
Providing Studio tours for prospective clients
Ensuring the Studio is a fun and safe learning environment
Following up on leads, schedule tours, and closing deals
Reporting regularly to the executive team on progress; and completing all related administrative tasks
Qualifications:
Proven work history with children ages 5-14, and enthusiasm for working with kids - this can be from a previous club experience, eg a sports coach and does not need to be gained from a teaching background.
Familiarity with technology - no programming skills required and all relevant technical training will be provided.
Knowledge of business operations, including developing leads and sales, team leadership and being able to provide overall satisfying service to clients.
Must be fun to work with and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
Must be deadline and detail-oriented.
Must have strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
CVs to me asap please as I am keen to recruit for this role before Christmas.
