Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council have an exciting opportunity for experienced administrator to join their busy and expanding team responsible for the West Midlands Children’s Services (WMCS) across the West Midlands Region.

As an Administrator you will be involved in supporting the development and roll-out of a programme of activities aimed at improving and making a positive difference to the lives of children, young people and families across the West Midlands.

In this role you will be providing comprehensive administrative and financial support, act as the first point of contact for all programme queries, provide management information, analysis and reports. You will also co-ordinate and provide support for meetings and work collaboratively, developing and maintaining relationships with a range of partners and stakeholders across the region.

To be considered for this role you will have: Numeracy and literacy skills (e.g. GCSE A-C in English or Maths or an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration) Significant work experience in a customer focussed administrative role. Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to exchange and present information appropriate to the audience. Interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of partners. Confidence in using a range of IT software including databases and MS Office (or similar).
