Reed Business Support Oxfordshire has the pleasure of supporting a prestigious Central Oxford College in their search for an Administration Assistant.

You would be joining a team of 6 in a vibrant and diverse academic community, providing Administrative support to the Accountant, House Surveyor, and Treasurer.

The ideal candidate will have considerable experience of administrative work in a medium-sized organisation and to have good knowledge of on-line search engines and basic Word and Excel skills, database experience would be an advantage also the ability to communicate effectively on all levels will be a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities will include

  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
  • Photocopying, and filling
  • Keeping grant and account database up to date
  • Management of office equipment (photocopier/fax/printers etc.) and ordering supplies
  • Daily banking of cheques and cash received by the Treasury

In return, you will have a holiday entitlement of 5 weeks, free lunches, final salary pension scheme and completive salary of £25,000 - £26,000 depending on experience.

This is a full time, permanent role, with working hours of 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday with a 60-minute lunch break.
