The team in which this role operates is a closely-knit group of accounting professionals. They are looking to hire someone who can work cohesively in this environment.
About the role:
Preparation of accounts and tax returns; Taking accounts up to Trial Balance with minimal supervision; Liaising with clients and other third party stakeholders; Preparing self-assessment and partnership tax returns; Occasional audit work for clients; Supporting clients with forecasting and financial projects; Processing with monthly payrolls; Processing daily/weekly/monthly invoices and bank reconciliations; and ad hoc accounts duties.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to manage their own workflow.
Minimum 2 years’ experience within an accountancy practice; Ideally Qualified Accounts Technician (IATI/AAT or equivalent); Strong communication skills; Fundamental understanding of relevant accounting legislation; and Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
Suitable applicants will also be familiar with Xero, QuickBooks, BrightPay, CCH or similar.
