Our client is a well established manufacturing business, exporting worldwide. Their finance team are recruiting for an experienced AP Clerk to join them on a 4 month FTC. You will have experience of end to end Purchase Ledger, and be able to start work at short notice.
Duties:
• Ensuring that all invoices are approved and are matched to the relevant purchase order
• Inputting of all purchase invoices on to the Finance system
• Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries and differences
• Managing the purchasing inbox and all other supplier correspondence
• Carrying out statement reconciliations on a regular basis
• Review of ageing invoices and clean-up of any unallocated payments
• Assisting with the accurate and timely delivery of the payment run
• Ensure that the payment run is passed to the relevant manager for authorisation and posting to the bank
• Set-up new suppliers on the Finance system as required making sure all requested details are received
• Supporting the period end reporting process
• Ad hoc finance projects and administrative duties
