Reed Accountancy are currently recruiting for a small friendly organisation who are seeking a part time ACCOUNTS CLERK.
Reporting to the manager and as a key member of the team , take responsibility for all aspects of accounts with particular focus on purchase and sales ledger.
Maintain the relevant books of accounts in accordance with standard practice and agreed procedures
manage all aspects of purchase ledger from receipt of invoice , data entry, reconciliation , authorisation for payment and payment runs
Process financial transactions including sales and supplier invoices including cash allocation in a timely and accurate manner
Input data on to the relevant systems
Assist the Finance Manager with month end processes.
Assist with administrative functions throughout the business – filing, mail distribution and other adhoc duties
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly organisation on a part time basis for 15/18 hours per week which are flexible and consolidate your experience gained to date in accounts. The role would ideally suit an accounts clerk with experience in purchase and sales ledger with strong I.T. skills .
