Reed Accountancy Belfast is delighted to be working with a very successful organisation based in Belfast City Centre. Our client is seeking an experienced applicant who would be skilled in handling all general ledger, credit control and office tasks whilst also delivering an excellent level of customer service.

This is a 3 month contract role initially, however due to continuous company growth a permanent position may be offered dependent on performance.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Daily maintenance of cheque and bank lodgements
• Taking customer orders and liaising with suppliers
• Purchase ledger invoice processing
• Recording supplier invoices on Sage and arranging payment
• Supplier statement reconciliation
• Sales ledger invoice processing
• Issuing credit notes
• Credit Control- contacting clients regarding outstanding invoices
• Renegotiating payment terms
• Issuing debtor ledgers to overdue accounts
• Complete & submit monthly commission report to head office
• Manage petty cash
• Reception duties
• Monitoring company email accounts
• General customer query resolution
• Maintaining company filing system
• Sundry office admin duties as they arise

Essential Criteria:

• Proven record working within a busy finance and administration role
• Experience in invoicing, credit control, debt collection and managing incoming payments
