I am working on behalf of a key client of mine based in Chessington who is looking for an accounts assistant/ credit controller to cover a period of maternity up to 12 months. The role will be a mix of both credit control and accounts administration and will work in a team of 5 people in accounts. My client is flexible on hours as long as they are worked between 08.30- 17.00 (current person works 08.30- 15.00).
Your duties will include:
Assist with cash collection and credit control activities as required including phoning customers
Administration of company vehicle fleet including insurance, accidents, short term hire, parking, , congestion charge, fuel cards etc
Other admin responsibilities including phones, stationery, new starters
Provide cover during staff holidays for supplier invoice processing and cash allocation entries on the Sage 200 system
Assist with month end close especially reconciling inter-company balances with other group companies
Other duties as delegated from time to time by the Financial Controller or any other person designated in their absence
In return your benefits on the contract will include: salary range from £20,000- £24,000, hours by negotiation during core hours 8.30am - 5:00pm with 0.5hrs for lunch, holiday entitlement of 21 days and entry to the group pension scheme.
