Reed Accountancy are seeking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to work with a client based in Chester-Le-Street for a period of 9-12 months (maternity cover). Due to the nature of the role the client is hoping to begin the successful candidates employment as soon as possible, meaning that 4 week notice periods or longer will not be considered unfortunately.
As Accounts Assistant your key responsibilities will include (but not be restricted to):
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with monthly payroll run
- Making payments via BACS & CHAPS
- Assisting with the month end process
