A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a well known client of ours for an Accounts Assistant to join on an initial Fixed Term contract for nine months to cover maternity.

Accounts Assistant

• Maintain the Sales Ledger of the company.
• Control customers credit in line with company policy.
• Keep sales team informed of relevant issues
• Posting payments to ledger and reconciling to invoices
• Taking credit card payments over the phone
• Customer account reconciliations
• Liaise internally and externally to resolve queries in a timely manner
• Prepare and despatch monthly statements to customers.
• Perform these duties in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with good accounting practice.
• To continually develop knowledge and skills to carry out role.


• Some accountancy experience would be useful
• Good attention to detail
• Flexible
• Experience of SAP Business One is desirable
