I am working on behalf of a key client of mine based in Chessington who are looking for a temporary Accounts Assistant. The role is available initially for 2 months but there could be the opportunity to go perm for the right candidate.
Reporting to the finance manager your duties will include:
Dealing with clients queries via phone, email, and in-person.
Processing transactions, issuing checks and updating ledgers.
Preparing financial reports.
Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
You will need to have experience working in a similar role and be able to commit to a minimum of 2 months for this assignment. You will ideally have used an accounting package and be able to pick up systems quickly.
