Reed Accountancy in Practice are working with a firm on the outskirts of the city centre to find an Accounts Assistant, but would consider a bookkeeper, for their growing firm. The office is based in the Jewellery Quarter close to transport links but also has free parking. The office is a very welcoming space with a lot of open space and light and a good loyal team to integrate with.
The candidate will be expected to balance subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries, maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions, maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries, balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance and maintains historical records by filing documents.
The ideal candidate will have a proven bookkeeping experience, excellent communication skills, have worked in an accounting practice environment and have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The candidate must have Xero experience only apply if you have a working knowledge of Xero
