Reed Accountancy & Finance are working with a well-established and successful family business in Co Antrim and are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Accounts Assistant will work as part of a small team, assisting with accounts administration as required.
More specific duties will involve:
Purchase ledger, and processing a high volume of invoices
Accurately posting and coding invoices ensuring correct product codes
Supplier statement reconciliation and managing any supplier queries
Processing supplier payments
Credit control and actively chasing any outstanding accounts
Assisting with inter-company accounting
Previous accounts experience essential, together with a working knowledge of MS Excel
Good planning and administration skills with the ability to multi-task
Proven ability to adapt/learn new tasks and systems quickly
