REED Accountancy Lancaster are happy to be working with a forward-thinking Accountancy practice based in Lancaster to recruit an experienced and energetic Accounts Assistant to join the busy team. The organisation is very keen on development and opportunity for all staff, so this is a really exciting business to be part of.
The role will be part of the internal team but will also involve support for some of the larger clients that the business works with. Task will be a mixture of sales ledger, purchase ledger, payroll and general accounts support. Other duties will include:
- Processing of high number of purchase ledger invoices
- Uploading of payroll data
- Generating invoices and payments
- Importing data onto the purchase ledger
- Reconciliation of the payments and the purchase ledger
- Management of client and customer queries

We are ideally looking for candidates that are studying towards AAT, ACMA, ACA, ACCA qualifications or have similar or equivalent experience.
Experience of sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control would also be advantageous.
