Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to working with an international IT company in Belfast City centre who have an urgent requirement for an Accounts Assistant to join their team originally on temporary basis.

Reporting to the Finance Controller, duties will include the management of a busy purchase ledger function, payroll, month end processes as well as more general administration.
More specific duties will include:
Processing invoices and matching and coding to ensure accuracy
Supplier statement reconciliations
Assisting with VAT Returns
Assisting with invoice queries and liaising with suppliers to resolve
Preparing and processing supplier payments
Daily bank run
General administration duties including filing and post
The ideal person for this role will have:
At least 3-5 years’ experience in a busy Finance environment
Strong IT knowledge – preferably Netsuite & Excel
Excellent time management skills and ability to work to strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
