Carry out control account reconciliations
Complete VAT returns
Monitor Sales and Purchase Ledger operations, undertaking as required
Post debits and credits to in house accounts database
Check and agree recoverables
Check and approve Bacs payments
Maintain control accounts
Arrange CHAPS payments, as required
Assist with budget/year end work
Assist with audits, inspections and enquiries, as required
General clerical and administrative duties, as required, together with other ad hoc tasks
What you do you need?
AAT level 3/4 desirable or qualified by experience
Previous recent experience in a similar role
Thorough knowledge of accounting processes
IT literate in MS Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum
Attention to detail
Strong organisation skills
Good communication and inter-personal skills
Strong people skills
Positive ‘Can Do’ attitude
Working knowledge of MS Dynamics, Sage 200 or similar packages preferred
