Reed Accountancy & Finance are working with a distribution company in Belfast and are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, duties will include the management of a busy purchase ledger function, as well as more general administration.
More specific duties will include:
Processing invoices and matching and coding to ensure accuracy
Supplier statement reconciliations
Assisting with invoice queries and liaising with suppliers to resolve
Preparing and processing supplier payments
Daily bank run
Management of petty cash
General administration duties including filing and post
The ideal person for this role will have:
At least 12 months experience in a busy Finance environment
Strong IT knowledge – preferably Sage 50 and MS Excel
Excellent time management skills and ability to work to strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
