Reed Accountancy are partnered with a fantastic business based in Central Reading, currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team to support with the daily accounts on a Permanent basis.
This role is seeking a candidate with experience in daily processing of both AP and AR functions, as well as knowledge of Payroll preparation and Expenses. A candidate with knowledge of month end duties such as accruals and prepayments would be beneficial as this role offers strong progression opportunities and would be ideal for someone seeking to expand their accounting knowledge.
Duties for this role will include
- Full ownership of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable invoicing
- Bank reconciliations
- Collect and provide company payroll information and reconcile payroll and PAYE
- Manage VAT returns
- Manage accruals, prepayments and fixed assets; ensuring accounts are fully reconciled and all relevant transactions are captured and accounted for
- Ensure financial controls operate in line with policy and procedure
Due to the office location there is no on-site parking, however the office is located close to the local bus and train stations.
