I’m working exclusively with this client based in Peterborough who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team until March 2020 with the possibility of an extension.
You will need to have ideally an AAT qualification or currently studying CIMA or ACCA.
Your main duties will include:
- General Ledger Journal preparations
- Assist with Month end, accruals and prepayments
- Maintain the cashbook
- Manage the fixed asset register
- Allocate cash to customer accounts
- Support the Accounts Payable Clerk and Credit Controller
This position requires someone to start as soon as possible so this would suit someone who is currently looking for their next contract or on a week notice.
