Having recently gained new owners our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to expand ther existing excellent administration, events and accounts team.

You will provide accounting, HR and administrative support for the General Manager, whilst also handling routine accounting tasks such as cash reconciliation, banking, and weekly and monthly payroll using Sage and Sage Payroll. Your HR management and office management tasks will include word processing and management of correspondence and post. Additionally, you will be expected to handle telephone enquiries, manage stationary and purchase office supplies, as well as photocopy, file, and keep records etc. for the main office.

our other responsibilities would be as follows:
To handle the weekly and monthly accounting function
To coordinate the HR management for the site
Act as Office Manager and take responsibility for office security
To handle the routine administration and paperwork in respect of AGCC
Assume responsibility for data base management for the site
Prepare agendas and take minutes of meetings as required.
To make all necessary arrangements, including room bookings and circulation of papers, for Club and Company meetings as required.
Any other duty within the jobholder’s capacity and as required by the General Manager

The successful candidate will have the following area of expertise;

- Accounting experience (This must be recent and relevant)
- Experience managing an office envrionment is desireable
- Experience using Sage and Sage Payroll is essential
- Ideally this candidate will be immediately available

This role is located in North Watford and therefore must be able to commute with ease.
