REED Ireland have been given the opportunity to hire for an immediate start in an energetic company in Dublin City Centre. This company has experienced strong year on year growth and now are in a position due to hire for an Accounts Assistant to aid with accounts preparation with the ever increasing workload.

The company specialises in providing bespoke services for a broad range of high profile blue chip clients. They are based in the heart of Dublin's city centre and are well connected to all public transport links. Main Responsibilities:

Processing accounts payable invoices

Perform cash allocation and assist with cash flow on a daily basis

Prioritise and manage a challenging workload whilst maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction

Processing employee expenses and reconciling credit card payments

Reconciling cash, credit card and debtor values stemming from company sales

Monthly supplier & bank reconciliations

Assist in the preparation of monthly Payroll processing

Assist in the year-end audit process

Overhead cost processing

Assist in the preparation of various Revenue returns (VAT/PAYE)

Addressing supplier queries

Solve debtor issues regarding invoice query, maintaining appropriate records and solving any issue that delays collection

Monitoring and ensuring all debtors pay on time and within their terms (via telephone, email, e-letters)

Preparing debtors ledger reports


Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role

IATI Qualification would be advantageous or ACCA part Qualification is HIGHLY Advantageous

Excellent communication and numeracy skills

Experience across multiple accounting software would be advantageous

Ability to work on own initiative and be part of a team

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to work to specific targets

A high working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
