The role is to help out in a small finance team where you will be looking after the purchase ledger but may be asked to help out in other area's of accounts. The role is to input and process invoices, dealing with any queries as you go along. But you may be asked to help out with some payment runs and reconciliations. You will need to be able to use excel and training will be given on sage if you need it.
If you don't have any experience in finance but have studied towards it my client would be happy to offer you the training you need.
Although you will need to be able to work full time hours you can agree the hours you do with your line manager as this company are very flexible and understand the need for a good work life balance.
