A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a well known company in Sheffield for an Accounts Administrator to join on an initial temporary basis with the view to a permanent role.

Job Purpose:

To have knowledge of all accounts administration, to include Sales/Purchase ledger accounts systems. CIS compilation. To be able to compile accounts to Trial Balance.

Supports forecast, budget, and planning operations by preparing worksheets; maintaining data and models.


* Prepares forecasting, budget, and planning worksheets by downloading and verifying general ledger account data.

* Provides financial data to planning process users by researching general ledger account information.

* Maintains budget and forecasting models by entering and updating data; providing results.

* Supports cost analysis by maintaining resource files and financial models.

* Provides historical information by assembling general ledger account data; documenting processes.

* Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.

* Provides information by answering questions and requests.

* Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

* Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


Preferable AAT Qualified or other.

Experience Essential;

Accounts to includes knowledge to Trial Balance, VAT returns, CIS compilation. Purchase and Sales Ledger Data entry.

Data Entry Skills on in house computer systems. Experience of Sage line 50 an advantage. Financial Software Quickbooks, Tracking Budget Expenses, Reporting Skills, Forecasting, Attention to Detail, Productivity, Informing Others
