New opportunity for an Accounts Administrator to join an award-winning Accountancy Practice in Cobham. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £18,000-£20,000, depending on level of experience. This role requires a candidate with Sage data entry skills and previous accounts/administrative experience. This role would suit someone with an office administration background interested in pursuing a career in Accounts.

Accountancy/Admin Duties:
- Monthly vat filing/monitoring and online registrations for new clients
- Corporation tax filing online, ensuring completion within the deadlines
- Personal Tax returns, including monitoring deadlines and liaising with clients for records due
- Ensuring monthly targets are on track and that client records are up to date
- Monitoring outsourced jobs and tracking progress
- Drafting new client engagement letters using the template
- Credit control - twice a month or more often as is required
- Managing the office in the Managing Director’s absence and dealing with client queries
- Working closely with the office manager and completing other administrative duties as reasonably requested

Property Compliance:
- Dealing with renewals due on rental properties
- Repairs o/s and follow up procedures
- Accounting and payments per property on a monthly basis
- Tenant Deposit registration procedures and check if up to date
- Uploading new property online and carrying out relevant re-let procedures

Candidate specification:
- Experience of Sage data entry
- Must be able to multitask, use initiative and prioritise workload
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence with clients
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent IT skills, including Excel
- Professional and well-presented
