My central London based national business consultancy client is seeking an Accounts Admin Assistant to join the team. This role will involve a variety of tasks but predominately working within the Accounts Department. There will also be general office duties that you will be required to undertake as part of your role. We are looking for a pro-active, well organised, self-starter with attention to detail to join with our friendly organisation based in the heart of London city.
This is a great entry level position for a recent graduate or collage leaver.

Some of your duties will include:
• Inputting of supplier invoices onto our computer system
• Checking monthly supplier statements/ Dealing with supplier queries
• Raising Certs for Sub Contractors and verifying their tax status with the HMRC.
• Answering the telephone and directing to the right colleague.
• Post duties
• Meeting and greeting clients/ Arranging refreshments.
• Placing booking and managing reservations
• Provide administrative support for the team with day to day activities

The ideal candidate will have:
• Minimum of 1 years work experience
• Good Interpersonal skills, someone who can communicate effectively and efficiently with people at all levels.
• Strong IT Knowledge of computer skills, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel is essential.
• Knowledge of accounts package Sage/ Xero would be advantageous although not essential as training would be provided.
• A very organised and capable approach to the workplace and a willingness to take responsibility of own workload
• Be able to work on own their own initiative
• The ability to work towards tight deadlines
• Skills of being a proficient gate keeper would be beneficial
• A can do and positive attitude
•Able to work in a team and be a team player
