The role will include, but not be limited to:
Be the first point of contact to the company, covering reception and dealing with all enquiries, both in person and on the telephone.
Deal with the purchase ledger from point of order to processing of all invoices, matching purchase orders, delivery notes, recording job numbers correctly, entering onto Sage, reconciling statements.
Recording all credit card transactions, enter onto Sage and reconcile at month end.
Take charge of Petty Cash, recording all transactions, obtaining authorisation, reconciling monthly.
Assist with ordering of goods, obtain authorisation, issuing purchase orders, placing orders online and on the telephone.
Assist with the company marketing projects, including exhibitions, liaise with Marketing and PR company.
Update the company database on Access
Checking of timesheets and entering onto Sage in project records
Ad-hoc producing quotations, obtaining approval and sending to clients
Carry out site Health & Safety Inductions
Carry out new employee inductions
Monitor stationery levels and order when required
Monitor Water stock levels on site and order when required
Assist clients and crew on site, including but not limited to accommodation, travel etc.
Assist Management with general PA duties including travel.
General office duties, maintaining a tidy presentable reception area, instruct cleaner if addition areas need attention.
Perform other job responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge of excel, access and Sage line 50 required. Gant chant experience an advantage but not essential.
Hours of this role are 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday with 45 minutes for lunch. Competitive rate of pay.
