Reed Accountancy Oxfordshire are pleased to be working with a widely reputable Accountancy practice in North Oxford to find an experienced bookkeeper to join their growing team. The role offers a competitive salary, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), pension and flexible working hours. This vacancy has arisen from an increase in client demand, offering a role with a large amount of ownership and responsibility of accounts for 20-30 clients.
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
• General data entry of AP invoices, AR invoices, uploading
• Sending our customer statements if required
• Bank reconciliations
• Nominal account reconciliations
• Preparation and submission of VAT and CIS returns
• Potentially payroll processing
• Accruals and prepayments, depreciation and general journals
• Management Accounts preparation
The role is ideally suited for an experienced bookkeeper who has an extensive knowledge of accounting processes. You will be based in the Oxford branch but also between another branch in West Oxfordshire, as well as occasional client visits, so you will need your own transport. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be proficient in an accounting system as well as Excel.
