My client, an interpreting and translation agency based in London SE1, are looking to recruit for an Account Manager / Sales Executive.

Salary is £18-22k per annum, depending on experience, plus a realistic, achievable bonus of £4k.

Do you have Account Management experience?

Do you have outstanding relationship-building skills?

Can you use innovative techniques to increase awareness and generate revenue?

The successful candidate will be given a portfolio of clients to develop; much of their success is based on repeat business, so rapport-building skills are essential. Also, enquiries will come through via the website, so there will be warm leads to follow up. Business Development, to increase awareness, is also a key part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
To seek out and find new business within the portfolio through referrals, cross-selling, reactivating inactive clients, business development and targeted marketing; Manage a portfolio of clients by being able to communicate and maintain relationships with senior-level decision makers; Working primarily over the phone, but with the aim to meet and present to new and existing clients, face to face; To cross-sell other services such as Interpretation, Translation, Badging and Voting Systems; End-to-end job management from point of enquiry, to quoting, negotiation, approval, job management and invoicing.

Much of the bonus is based on repeat business, which makes it achievable, but there is an expectation to deliver growth as well. There is massive untapped potential!

As an Account Manager, you must be:
• Experienced in consultative selling and management of a portfolio (at least 12 months)
• Able to drive the business through business development, both on the phone and at meetings, with a proven track record.
• Motivated and enthusiastic, with a results-driven mentality
Willing to learn and become passionate about the company’s products
• An excellent communicator, with demonstrable ability to understand and explain complex ideas
Hardworking, dedicated, flexible and friendly; this company are looking for people with the ability to lead the business in the future and work within a team.
