Account Manager – Pharmaceutical
£40000 - £45000 + Commission

I am working with an established and growing digital marketing agency in central Bristol who are looking to add an experienced Account Manager to their ranks. Ideally you will have an understanding of the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector – but if you are the right person, a lack of experience here will not rule you out.

Reporting into the AD, you will be accountable for managing a portfolio of existing pharmaceutical clients and developing and expanding those relationships. The other half of this role will be focused around generating new business and keeping the sales pipeline topped up!

The accountability for the building and maintaining of relationships will fall to you, from the initial call through to the closure of the business. You will obviously have access to support from other teams but this role will offer real autonomy. Building relationships with business owners and C-suite professionals will not phase you nor will the thought of attending the odd networking event.

What are some of the other things you will be involved in?

• Develop and deliver a strategic sales plan to meet the business’ growth targets.
• Building bespoke solutions to fit that particular prospect’s needs in order to produce proposals in line with our agreed services. Consistently follow up leads, prospects, and proposals to maximise conversion rate.
• Deliver calls and meetings in a professional manner that aligns to the brand and identity. You will be representing the business.

What are your key responsibilities?

• Meeting regularly with existing customers to ensure they are satisfied with our services, reengage on projects/contracts for the next cycle, to understand their needs and propose additional services/projects we can provide them
• Achieving revenue target
• Building, developing and managing a target list.
• Engaging prospects - Telephone, networking, Face-to-Face meetings, and Internet technologies.
• Nurturing professional relationships to maximise revenue opportunities.
• Maintaining a fully up to date CRM.
• Fact-finding and client needs assessments
