2x Year 3 Class Teachers
Long Term Contract
January 2018 to July 2018 (minimum)
Potential to go permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic teacher to join the excellent team at a happy, thriving Preparatory School.

I am looking for a dynamic individual, with proven expertise and experience, to join a highly successful Junior School Department. The ideal candidate will have QTS and experience in teaching in lower key stage 2. As well as teaching in the classroom you will provide an excellent role model to the children for example eating with the children at break time and encouraging good table manners.

The successful applicant will have knowledge and experience of developing the whole child through combined delivery of the 7 areas of learning in the curriculum framework. You will also be required to assess each child to enable the planning of future development.

The post is a long term contract from January 2018 to at least the end of the summer term. There is the potential for the right candidate to go on to a permanent position with the school which would be a fantastic opportunity.

"The quality of pupils' acheivement and learning is excellent. From the EYFS upwards, pupils are very well educated in line with the school’s aim to know each pupil as an individual and identify, develop and nurture his or her varied talents and strengths according to differing needs at different times. Pupils’ attainment is judged to be excellent in relation to national age related expectations. They make rapid progress in relation to pupils of a similar ability. The pupils’ attitude to their work and learning are exemplary. The broad curriculum is excellent and complemented by the rich provision of extra-curricular activities. The quality of teaching is excellent and contributes highly to the pupils’ achievement. Teachers are enthusiastic and supportive and lessons take place in an atmosphere where pupils seek to do their best reflecting the school’s explicit ethos. Teaching is well planned to ensure that pupils’ interest is captured.”
