1st / 2nd Line, First Line / Second Line, Support, Desktop Engineer

1st / 2nd Line support Engineer is required on an initial 3 month contract to support the Senior System Manager in the daily operational tasks and assist in project work.

Knowledge & Skills:
- MS Windows operating systems windows 7, 8, 10, Server 2003, 2008 2012
- Understanding Microsoft Hyper-V environment
- MS Office 2010, 2013 & other layered Products
- Use of Citrix Xenapp 6.5 or other versions
- Using a Helpdesk System, dealing with users and monitoring calls
- Good telephone manner with users
- Use of Remote Control Software
- Active Directory Use and management
- MS Exchange 2010 & Enterprise Vault Archiving
- Setup and management of printers
- Understanding backup procedures for Netbackup 7.6 & Tape Control
- Knowledge of Group Policy
- Basic network procedures ie DHCP, IP addressing, DNS
- Anti Virus Software
- Powershell Scripting
- Folder Security and permissions
- Sharepoint 2007 & 2013
