IT Level 1 and 2 Support Technician/ Application Support

IT Level 1 and 2 Support Technician/ Application Support Technician is required by a fast expanding Investment management organisation, to join a highly experienced team to become a key member of the service desk team

To be successful you will have experience providing user/technical support in a mixed IT environment, and providing services and feedback to users and management in accordance with formal SLAs.
Sound knowledge of networking in a switched environment, all Windows / XP / 7 and 8 components including Office applications (2003 to 2010) and Exchange 2003, 2010 and cloud, as well as Knowledge of Active Directory in a Windows 2003 environment

• Good client service skills
• Technically compliant with an understanding of the operational infrastructure, databases and applications
• Knowledge of support techniques
• Good English written and verbal communication skills
• Good problem solving and query resolution skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks within a time driven SLA environment

• Microsoft Office suite
• MS Exchange and Office365 cloud
• HiPortfolio, SPP, and Aurora
• Oracle and SQL
• Solaris
• Networks (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, general administration and maintenance)
• Windows XP, 7, 8.1 / 2003, 2008 Server (Domain Admin, Active Directory, Security, DNS)
