We are situated opposite the 'Golden Gates' on Sankey Street. There is free parking for an hour on the main road and side street for candidates coming to ourselves to register, otherwise we are a short walk from both Warrington Bank Quay and Warrington Central stations.

Financial Controller

A well established, international firm based in Warrington are looking for a Financial Controller to lead an ERP implementation. Reporting to the Financial Director, this role will play a pivotal role in the continuation of immediate, and long term success of the UK organisation.

You will have responsibility of a team of 4, you will manage the month end processes and monthly management accounts, along with management of the budgeting and forecasting process.

In the immediate, this position will take a key lead in implementation and roll out of JD Edwards across the group. You will develop an extensive group wide support network, and provide a “super user” status to the Finance and Ops teams. The successful person will become a central figure for the organisation. You will consistently develop existing controls and procedures, strengthen MI and performance analysis, enhancing business support and commercial growth,

Preferred Experience 

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Equivalent).
• Relevant experience within a similar environment and managing a small team.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Experience of JD Edwards implementation advantageous but not essential.
• Up to date working knowledge of UK GAAP preferred.
• Excellent communication, administrative, and organisational skills are required.
