Teaching Assistant

£60 to £70 Per day

Are you an experienced TA looking for a new opportunity?

Are you a newly qualified Teaching Assistant looking for a foot in the door?

Perhaps you’re looking to work in a new setting or put to use your experience?

Then you could be just the Teaching Assistant schools require this January!

Here at Reed Education Staffordshire, we are working alongside local schools who are looking for a reliable and committed TA. Teaching Assistants working for Reed Education get access to a wide range of work across different education settings, and we will endeavour to help you take the steps you want to in your career.

What can we offer?

• A personalised service from a consultant with over eight years’ experience. Throughout your time working with Reed, we will make sure to find out what you are looking for and work to suit you.
• We can provide access to opportunities including 1-2-1 support with mainstream and SEN pupils, group work and whole class TA.
• We secure work for people on a short term, long term and even permanent basis, meaning you hear about the roles you want.
• We work around your specialisms – perhaps you feel best suited to a particular age range or ability level? Or maybe you feel like offering a more nurturing approach to an SEN student is where your strength lies?
• A proactive consultant – you can rest assured that by choosing Reed you are choosing an agency with a large and growing presence in Stoke and Staffordshire who will contact the schools that you want to work in.

Every school is, of course, different. It is up to us to help make sure we help you find positions in the schools which suit you! Just some of the things that local schools are looking for include:

• Experience working with students in maths, English and phonics – the key areas monitored throughout education
• Relevant training, such as the NVQ courses, CACHE etc.
• Any additional training – perhaps you’ve attended a SEN course or are Team Teach trained? It all helps!
• A flexible approach – more and more schools share TAs across classes and groups. The more flexible you are able to be, the more this will help schools!
• Plus, anything which makes you different! If you have worked in an SEN setting, can help students with EAL or can bring something different to the table such as musical ability or a language, it will all be noticed.

What are the benefits Reed offer?

• A competitive daily pay rate of between £60 - £70 per day based on your experience and the requirements of the role.
• A professional, tailored approach with consistent contact throughout
• Access to a range of benefits, including a pension and Reed Rewards – our dedicated package of discounts and rewards for our employees.
• A stress free way of getting paid – you have the choice to be a PAYE employee and our simple online timesheets and weekly pay help make a smooth a reliable transition to your new role.
