Our client, a provider of leasehold apartment schemes for older residents; seek one temporary Estate MANAGER / SCHEME MANAGER to manage one of their housing schemes in Bridport. PART TIME (20hours/week) temporary. the working hours are flexible. This would be for a 3-4month with chance to apply to the Permanent position after this period.

Candidates must have supervisory / managerial / team leader Estate ./ residential housing experience behind them - you may have held a position as an Estate Warden or Scheme Manager; you must be approachable, sensitive and friendly with excellent customer service skills and the ability to relate to residents.

General health & safety at work knowledge and first aid training would be beneficial.
A valid DBS check is a must but can be covered by REED should you require one.

Daily duties may include the following:

• Being available to all Homeowners to pass the time of day and offer help, support and advice as necessary.

• Facilitating social interaction and helping Homeowners to enjoy their lives in retirement.

• Promoting good communications between the Homeowners and their families, the company and our partners and suppliers who provide support and other services.

• Managing the development – the buildings, gardens and grounds - in an efficient and effective manner such that a safe, secure, well maintained and pleasant environment is provided for our Homeowners.

• Dealing with emergency situations as they arise in a professional way.

• Obtain from all Homeowners emergency contact details of family, GPs or other relevant people and keep up-to-date records of such contacts to be used in the event of an emergency.

• Induct new Homeowners (and if necessary a close family member) in the use of all services and equipment.

• In a positive and friendly manner ensure that all new Homeowners are aware of the rules and regulations applying to their apartment and the common parts.
This role is paying £10.80PH PAYE or £13.24PH Umbrella / LTD PH.
