It is very important that you can commit to working a Sunday (or alternate), we also support during term time. The Sunday shift is from 10.00 to 16.00. In the school holidays the shifts are 09.00 to 16.00.
The support is to support Mum and ensure she get some respite.
You would need to have an understanding of Autism, Challenging behaviour, and learning Disabilities.
The right person would need to have the following skills
- Patience,
- personal care experience
- ability to think on your feet.
- Physically fit
* Experience of working with Challenging behaviour is vital. Team teach or equivalent would be desirable as would the ability to drive and have use of a car. (There is a mileage allowance)

Support Worker - Re enablement

The registered manager will take an active role in the implementation, promotion
and development of service within the organisation, and the implementation of
policies and procedures relating to service delivery.
The registered manager will be responsible for liaising with Line Managers and

Promote and maintain a quality service in line with statutory requirements and

Actively promote and maintain close working partnerships with parents, families
and other significant professionals significant to the lives of service users, in
order to promote their best interest.
Ensure all service users have on file individual service specifications. Ensure each
service user has a named key worker and a person centred plan in place. Ensure
all staff are aware of such plans and adhere to them at all times.
Promote and maintain procedures, which, in line with companies policies will ensure an adequate level of emotional and physical health care for all service users.

The working hours are 8am until 8pm, but you could do a shorter shift within these hours if preferred (8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm). You would be expected to be able to commit to the rota.
