Job Purpose:
Working with tenants, who are at risk of tenancy failure (and/or have vulnerabilities), to sustain their tenancy through the provision of time-bound, holistic, assessment based advice and support; ensuring that they can maintain their key tenancy obligations in the medium to long term. To specialise in working with tenants who have complex needs or with tenants who need further support around finances and wellbeing. This is supported through a range of channels, including telephone, digital media and undertaking face to face work at a range of locations including home visits, community locations and our customer service centres. To develop relationships and manage internal and external customers, working closely alongside the wider housing management team to maximise the impact of advice and support to ensure that residents receive tailored outcomes and are able to remain in their homes.

The successful candidate will have/be:
-Experience of working in a busy, front line and customer focused team dealing with a diverse range of tenants in a homelessness or housing management environment.

-Literate: able to read and interpret policies and legislation. Able to write non-standard letters and reports in plain English.

-Numerate: Ability to compile, present and analyse information and carry out complex calculations.

-Experience of providing practical support to vulnerable tenants in a sympathetic but assertive manner where required & able to keep calm and objective under pressure, you'll have strong interpersonal skills to cope in a crisis.
