Are you bored with sales?
Do you love working methodically and with great attention to detail, taking great satisfaction from working through a big, long term project?
Can you handle or even take pleasure from repetitive tasks when needed because you understand their importance to the bigger picture?
Do you take pride from giving great customer service, communicating clearly what you are going to do and when you are going to do it – and then doing it well?
Do you enjoy recognition and reward when you complete a major project to a high standard, as well as appreciate the support and encouragement you received along the way? And will you be ready to do it all over again when the next project begins?
If you can answer yes to all of the above, then you will enjoy and succeed in this new role we are recruiting for here at Reed! There are elements of recruitment to this role, as while you won’t be making sales calls you will need to be comfortable on the phone, sourcing candidates both for your own projects and sometimes for colleagues. You’ll need to be just as comfortable using MS Office, in particular with a working knowledge of Excel.
If the role sounds good, but you are wondering why to choose Reed, benefits which might convince you include:
- 25 days holiday with the ability to buy/sell or carry over days
- A generous bonus for successful completion of the projects you will be working on
- Regular smaller incentives for short term targets and internal competitions
- A friendly, supportive team around you
- Training to ensure you will be well prepared when you are first given a project of your own
- Financial support towards qualifications, either career or personal
- Reed dedicate 18% of our profit to our charities meaning 1 day in your working week is for a charitable cause.

Office Manager

  • LEICESTER, LEICESTERSHIRE
  • Permanent

£27,000 to £30,000 Per annum

You'll report directly to the UK Shopper Lab Manager (based in London) with your primary role being to manage the 'Shopper Lab Field Facilities' in Leicester.

These facilities include ‘mock-up stores,’ from which researchers are able to look at how marketing impacts shoppers' behaviour. In this simulated shopping environment, researchers gather results that can actually predict shoppers' behaviour, meaning maximum marketing success, enabling decision making about New product launches, Packaging changes, Retail price adjustments, Advertising material, Promotional campaigns, Merchandising organisation and Signage and tagging.

Mock-up stores are designed by merchandisers to realistically recreate the superstore environment (overall layout, shelving and fittings, background music, shopping carts, etc.). These mock-up stores are only open to test shoppers to make the tests controlled and confidential, something you don't get from tests done in actual stores.
Most importantly, these test stores are so realistic that shoppers behave just as they would in real-life, making our clients’ research results among the most reliable in the game.

On a day to day basis, your key tasks will include:

• Managing & motivating field team, i.e. researchers
• Ensuring the centre hits its daily/weekly recruitment targets
• Ensuring high standard of quality control, back checking of quotas/interviews, etc.
• Ensuring high quality of stimuli preparation
• Running eye tracking and other technologies as required
• Handling local suppliers, facility management issues & day-to-day store organization
• Ensuring client visits are well prepared & handled
• Working with external partner field agencies as required

You may also be required from time to time to work in PRS IN VIVO’s other field centres in the UK, for example, as holiday cover or for training.
