3) The preparation and processing of regular payment to creditors in accordance with agreed procedures.
4) Weekly posting of cash to purchase ledger for items paid through cash book.
5) Match stock supplier invoices to goods received notes from Epos system and despatch note signed by shop & warehouse teams.
6) Check purchase prices on invoices to ensure that they match those shown on the purchase order.
7) Coordinate with buying department the identification price queries and booking in errors to avoid delays in payments.
8) Prepare schedule of monthly price differences and other month end close reports.
9) Prepare supporting documentation for debit notes for invoice discrepancies and retrospective rebates.
10) Monthly reconciliation of creditor’s ledger.
11) Request missing proof of delivery from shops / warehouse / suppliers.
12) Prepare documentation to support stock adjustments for missing goods/incorrect prices
13) Update stock system for approved stock adjustments.
14) Quarterly reconciliation of suppliers statements, follow up any discrepancies
15) Dealing with suppliers’/customer queries in a polite and professional manner
16) Assisting the posting and reconciliation of web account sales as required
17) Regular office filing plus archiving of paper work to warehouse once storage within accounts department is full and generally keeping the office tidy
18) Part of team to cover for reception over lunch, holidays and sickness.
19) Open the accounts post and distribute mail.
