Main duties include:-

As the IT Commercial Vendor Manager you will lead and develop the relationships with various strategic and critical suppliers to deliver maximum value both commercially and contractually within this role.

You will also be responsible for developing and implementing business led sourcing blueprint and supplier strategies whilst maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring a consistent delivery of associated strategic sourcing and outsourcing projects.

Responsible for circa £20million across tech infrastructure, cloud, apps etc so your budget experience will be crucial in managing vendors, contract/commercial management, writing sourcing strategies, understanding of complex pricing models specific to IT

You’ll look after a team of 4/5 so existing team management/mentoring coupled with refined collaborative/influencing skills at a senior stakeholder level would be beneficial.

In addition, key responsibilities will include;
• Responsibility for managing the IT Operations budget of circa £14M
• Provide thought leadership in the provision and mix of commercial relationships required to achieve the IT&T Strategy
• Develop and manage the delivery of the IT&T sourcing strategy to support a strong supply base that provides the right resources in the right places at the right time whilst delivering the objectives of the IT Strategy and Roadmap
• Vendor account management with key 3rd parties ensuring service is in adherence and delivered in line with contractual obligations
• Actively negotiate commercial arrangements with IT Supply chain demonstrating strong negation skills underpinned by an astute commercial awareness
• Act as the senior commercial representative of IT&T to forge strong and positive working relationships across the business and more specifically procurement
• Collaborate with internal teams to bring new and creative ideas in achieving best value and adding value to the broader strategy
• Line management responsibility for Strategic Supplier team and Operational Assurance team
• Develops and delivers insightful spend analysis reports and IT purchasing compliance reports
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement through leveraging the existing and future supply chain

Ideally, you will be experience in managing complex strategic and critical Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, have extensive commercial awareness across IT marketplace incl. offshore marketplace and supplier knowledge, have a clear understanding of best practice supplier relationship management knowledge, exemplify excellent stakeholder management skills up to Exec level, have a sound knowledge of the IT platforms and IT services (incl. software, hardware, networks & telecoms, outsource/managed services) and associated products, services, and suppliers.

Are you an experienced Senior Pensions Administration? Do you have a background in Pensions? Are you interested in working with an award winning Pensions Consultancy? I have a great opportunity based in Edinburgh for a Pensions and Benefits Administrator

The ideal candidate will be already working as a Senior Pensions Administrator or Pensions Administrator within the Pension's industry (preferably for a Third Party Administrator or an in-house provider) and should possess strong pensions administration skills. 3 – 5 years’ Pensions administration background - specifically dealing with Defined Contribution administration (knowledge of DB would be advantageous). Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ideally, having the ability to demonstrate use of Excel at an intermediate level. Work will involve VLookUps, Pivot Tables, Data Views and formulae. Knowledge of Profund Pensions Administration System will be highly beneficial

Are you an experienced Pensions Administration? Do you have a background in Pensions? Are you interested in working with an award winning Pensions Consultancy? I have a great 12 months fixed term contract opportunity based in Edinburgh for a Pensions and Benefits Administrators (12 Month Contract)
You will need to demonstrate previous experience in relation to defined contribution and defined benefit pensions administration. Experience in using Profund - pensions administration system or similar platform and knowledge of Pension Freedom Act introduced in 2015 is required.

Ideally you will be already working within a similar Pensions Administrator role (preferably for a Third Party Administrator or an in-house provider) and will possess strong pensions administration skills. Ideally a minimum 2 years’ Defined Contribution experience is desirable.

Fixed Term Contract consisting of 37.5 hours per week and will require flexibility in various shifts operating from 8.30am – 6.00pm.
