When do nominations open?
Nominations open on Monday 29th September at 00.01am and close for the weekly draws at midnight the next Monday morning. The nomination window will close completely, for all nominations, on Monday 15th December at midnight.
The overall winner will be drawn from the previous 11 winners and will be announced on Friday 19th December at 4pm.
Can anyone submit a nomination?
Yes! Colleagues, service users and their friends and family can all nominate a healthcare worker for their outstanding commitment. As long as you are not an employee of REED, or it's subsidiaries, there are few restrictions as to who can submit a nomination.
Who can be nominated?
Health and care workers! We want every outstanding healthcare worker to recognised for the fabulous work they do. The types of roles we expect to see are listed, but not limited to, below:

How can I nominate?
Nominations can be received by posting on our social media accounts or via email. You can also nominate via postcard entry, which can be found at any of our Health and Care branches.

What information should I include in my nomination?
Please make sure to include the following in your nomination:
Full name of nominee
Which town the nominee works in (or around)
What job the nominee does
What organisation the nominee works for
Why this person goes beyond the call of duty
Will I receive confirmation that my nomination has been received?
All nominations received will be responded to, either by social media or email, to confirm receipt. We may ask you for more information, if we need anything to complete your nomination.
Please note, we may ask you for the nominee's email address at some stage, so we can send them an email to congratulate them. Please do not post their email or phone details on any social media walls, as they will not be secure.
Can I nominate more than one person?
Yes! Certainly. We want to reward and thank as many healthcare workers as possible. You will need to nominate via a new post, email or postcard.
Where will my nomination be displayed?
Your nomination will be displayed on our social media accounts and on our website. Please be aware that some nominations may be used for other external communications, also.
With this is mind, please be aware that personal information should be kept to a minimum, and we may amend the copy of your nomination if deemed inappropriate to broadcast.
When are the winners announced?
Winners are announced every Monday at 4.00pm. Winners will be contacted via the email address provided, and announced on the website and via our social media channels.
How do I find out if my nominee has won a prize?

What prizes can my nominee win?
Our weekly prizes are £100 worth on bonus bond vouchers - which allow winners to purchase a whole array of items. From iPods to homewares, holiday vouchers to jewellery - we're giving you a chance to reward nominees with what they really want.
Our overall winner, picked from the previous eleven weekly winners, will receive an additional £100 worth of bonus bond vouchers plus a gorgeous Christmas hamper to enjoy.

What do the judging panel look for in a nomination?
The judging panel will look for the nomination that proves an individual goes above and beyond the call of duty. Demonstration of the 6Cs (care, compassion, communication, commitment, courage and competence) in the nominations will help to guide the judges in their decisions.
