Role outline
- Gathering and documenting business requirements for agreed projects/change requests.
- Working collaboratively with the business project stakeholders/key users and development team to propose solutions to satisfy agreed requirements.
- Obtaining high level estimates from the development team for proposed solutions as appropriate.
- Obtaining sign-off from business stakeholders on project requirements and Solutions.
- Providing IT Analyst support throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects.
- Ensuring assigned work packages are QA tested and documented sufficiently for UAT release.
- Providing expert knowledge and ensure system documentation is up to date of systems of assigned modules.
- Providing Triage for support tickets assigned to the Analysts team on a rota basis.
- Ensuring project deadlines are met and when not possible, appropriate escalation routes are taken.

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen from one of my established clients, a national training provider, who are currently looking for an exceptional IQA in Health & Social Care Exeter/ Plymouth. The opportunity has arisen due to company expansion and promotions. 

As an IQA you will be responsible for the quality assurance sampling of qualifications within the Health & Social Care field & will be supporting the Regional Trainers / Tutors in helping them interpret, understand and apply the standards and assessments requirements the learners are working towards. The role is remote, thus, flexible, as you will manage your own diary accordingly and correspondence will be made via Lync and webinars or face to face with assessors/tutors. You will need to have your own transport and be willing to travel within a designated geographical area from your home location.

The ideal candidate will need to have an IQA as well as a strong Health and Social Care background and will need to have a passion for learning and developing others and in return you will have the opportunity to work for one of the top performing companies in the UK who offers a fantastic competitive package and room to grow and progress.

Duties:


• Conduct quality assurance activities of qualifications allocated through on going desktop verification.
• Ensure that all awarding organisation standards/ polices/ processes are maintained.
• Support the Regional Trainer /Tutor with assessment methodology remotely via Lync and webinars or face to face.
• Produce sampling plans based on risk and follow and update these through desk based sampling, Lync and observation of practice to uphold the quality of the qualification, maintaining a clear audit trail of activity.
• Where required give clear action plans that are SMART and support the RTs to achieve actions.
• To ensure that sampling follows the internal sampling / quality assurance strategy and awarding organisation requirements.
• Ensure team are using the most up to date resources include online platforms i.e.    FUSE and BKSB
• Maintain occupational CPD by following agreed development plans
•  Ensure CPD reflects Company and industry requirements
• Maintain and enhance relationships with business support teams to support the delivery of the sector plan
• Contribute to ad hoc cross sector/function projects to support the delivery of Lifetime’s strategic plan

Qualifications Required:


• IQA (Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (Units 1 & 2)

• Level 2 or equivalent Maths and English or equivalent

• Level 3 or higher in Health and Social Care

• Health and Social Care Experience is a must
