*To report all accidents & near misses.

* To investigate accidents to establish root cause & make recommendations in order to eliminate future risks.

* Implement and maintain controls to prevent accidents.

* To produce all necessary production entries and supporting information on the production system (Sage).

* Admin tasks including holiday management, resource planning.

Ideal candidate Specification (desirable):

* Previous Management Supervisory experience in a food production environment

* Experienced and good knowledge in the areas of batch control, stock control and management

* Excellent written and spoken communication skills

* Strong man-management training and skill with the ability to motivate and get the best from individuals

* Ability to work alone with minimal supervision, use sound judgment and take decisive action

* Formal training in Health and Safety and Food Hygiene

* Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook, experience with Sage 200 desirable

* FLT driver desirable
