The focus of the role will be the production and communication of monthly loss forecasts, including those feeding the 2018 Annual Operating Plan process for UK Retail portfolios. The role is temporary, lasting to the end of 2017, to allow existing resource to be allocated to preparations for the implementation of the new IFRS 9 impairment allowance processes

As a Senior Analyst, the role holder will be expected to:

• Formulate the business problem and translate this into an actionable analytic plan incorporating resource estimates where applicable
• Specify the analyses and modelling activities required, and either perform them or supervise them being performed by subordinate project resources.
• Manage a wide range of analytical and modelling projects from inception to delivery supervising subordinate involving onshore and offshore resources.
• Take on the most complex analysis projects personally and guide activities undertaken by subordinate resources
• Have experience of having devised and specified analysis to be performed by others.
• Have experience of having managed analytic and modelling projects using subordinate resources through to successful completion, on budget, on time and with clear financial benefits.
• Have experience of managing stakeholders

I’m currently working with a fantastic business who manufacture and supply textiles in form of homewares, housewares and soft furnishings in to both national and independent retailers. Having been established since the 19th century, they have a fantastic heritage including becoming the official towel supplier to a national sporting event with their towels becoming an iconic part of the games.

They are associated with a style that is inherently British with all design work taking place at their studio and head office in the North West. They have a loyal customer base and supply to national retailers such as Tesco, Sainsburys and Wilkinsons.

As part of their continued expansion and growth, they are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to manage existing accounts and develop new business within the textile supply chain across retail and wholesale sectors including positioning, branding and future development. The role is expected to be a 60/40 split of account management and new business development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Researching organisations and individuals to identify new leads and potential new markets
• Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
• Introducing a range of textile fibres to appropriate tertiary customers promoting key projects and relevant garment/fabric collections
• Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
• Provide product placement presentations every season with a goal of maximising business opportunities in terms of volume and value.
• Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have a background in targeting and developing both local and national retailers, regardless of the product or service sold. However, more important is that you have the hunger, drive and passion to succeed in this long term and progressive role. Your main responsibility will be coordinating Support Worker’s rotas, within your set geographical area, working closely with your areas Service Support Officers, whilst dealing with any safeguarding issues that may arise.

You will be liaising with your own team, social workers and family of the service users on a daily basis, therefore excellent communication skills are required.

You will be required to meet the demand for the care packages so must be able to multitask.

You will be working in a very busy office with great people, all very supportive and friendly, with a great team culture.

My client is an award winning company in the travel industry, based in a fantastic city centre office. Their inbound team of travel experts are growing and they want to welcome positive and outgoing sales people to join them. You will be the first point of contact for potential new customers so an excellent telephone manner is essential. My client wants their customers to feel excited about booking with them and your role will involve maximising all sales opportunities. My client is passionate about providing all customers with a first class service.

As this is an inbound contact centre there is no cold calling however there are targets in place, which you will be rewarded for if they are achieved.
