HGV driver

My client the UK's biggest  third party logistics company are looking to recruit HGV drivers to join the business.

Due to the expansion of contracts my client are seeking to recruit a number of  Class 1 and Class 2 drivers to work with all depots in the Gloucestershire region.

The title of the positions are relief drivers that provide relief cover for all depots within the Gloucestershire county.

These are permanent full time positions working at different depots each week.

A company car is provided for Transport to each site .

The role on occasion may require nights out due to restriction on driving hours which is also paid at a per night allowance .

Drivers will primarily be required to drive the 'Ready Mix' vehicles which would also require a degree of maintenance so a hands on driver to undertake a range of duties would also be needed .

£10.00 per hour (Class 2) £11.00 per hour (Class1) equivalent salary between £20'800 - £22'800 based on the 40 hours per week contract (Monday - Friday ) however realistic hours are 50 - 60 per week making an average of 55 hours which would equate to £28'600 - 31'460 + very generous bonus incentives.
