My client, an established and reputable organisation based in central Bristol, are currently looking to recruit a Senior Migration Engineer to join their current team.

They are about to undertake a major global project which will involve the migration of over 600 mailboxes from Lotus Notes to Office 365. The ideal candidate will be an expert who has advanced knowledge and experience in migration projects. They will need to be experienced in associated cloud technologies including SharePoint, Skype4Business, Azure AD and OneDrive. A strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Servers, DNS configuration, PowerShell and experience working with deployment software technologies.

Knowledge and Experience:-

- Knowledge of Virtualisation technologies including vSphere and VMware VDi

- High-level analytical, investigation, problem solving and trouble-shooting skills

- Proven working knowledge of Lotus Traveller administration & Lotus Notes, management and maintenance

- Proven experience working with Security software such as Firewalls and Anti-Virus.

- Computer Networking IP / DHCP / LAN / VPN / WAN / Firewalls / Routers

- The ability to remain calm under pressure, through demanding customers or challenges

- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite including O365 configuration and portal

- Experience with On-premise to cloud-based email migrations

- Established working experience of Microsoft Server environment and Services including but not limited to the following: Windows Server and Desktop (2008,2012, XP, 7, 8, 10), Web servers, (MS SQL)
