Responsible for delivering and managing changes to the Actuarial models (mainly Prophet, including Prophet ALS) and related applications, and ensuring these are suitable and available on time for the actuarial team to use. This includes managing the Prophet Development work and the release process.

They are open on either a pricing or reserving background but the ideal candidate will have had exposure to syndicate style products, understanding how these very from other non-life techniques.
This role would suit someone who has cleared the CT series of exams and has a good understanding of the main software used for either pricing or reserving.

A worldwide consulting firm are looking for a Pensions Actuary to join their Suffolk team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a nearly or newly qualified actuary to become an integral part of a high-performing organisation. As a consultant, you will work as part of a team and act as a key resource by performing many intricate aspects of the client work.
The ideal candidate will come from a background in pensions, have both technical and consulting experience, supported by strong academics.

•Provide actuarial input and assistance when requested and on a proactive basis (including input to systems development).
•Actively review and suggest improvements to procedures and working practices to ensure that the department operates in the most cost-effective and efficient way consistent with a high performance environment.

Reporting directly to the Chief Actuary, a brand new opportunity has arisen for a qualified Actuary to design and deliver the second line oversight function for the Life team.
With broad responsibility for strategy including: technical provisions; with-profits; modelling; pricing and reinsurance, the successful candidate will have proven actuarial experience in Life, excellent technical ability and natural relationship building skills.
